BDA Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Data Analyst (BDA) Specialist to join our IT analytics team. In this role, you will gather, cleanse, and analyze business data to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions and operational improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and validate data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness before analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services to present key metrics to stakeholders.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with business units to define data requirements and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Document data sources, transformations, and analytical methods in a clear, reproducible manner for auditability and future reference.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence within an IT or technology environment.
• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
• Hands‑on experience building interactive dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Lake or AWS Redshift.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
