Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Data Testing Specialist to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will design, execute, and document test cases for data quality and integrity across our enterprise systems, ensuring reliable and accurate data for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated data validation scripts using SQL and Python to verify data consistency across source, staging, and production environments.
• Execute manual and automated test cases on large datasets, identify defects, and collaborate with data engineers and analysts to resolve issues.
• Perform data profiling, cleanse data, and create data quality reports that highlight trends, anomalies, and root causes.
• Participate in data migration projects, validating data integrity before and after transfers.
• Document test procedures, results, and defect logs in our test management system, ensuring traceability and compliance with internal standards.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data quality testing, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, R, or Bash).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and presenting to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data quality tools such as Informatica Data Quality, Talend, or Microsoft Data Quality Services.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data stewardship best practices.
