Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join our rapidly growing IT analytics team. In this entry‑level role, you will work closely with senior analysts to clean, model, and interpret data, turning insights into actionable business decisions for our technology products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and preprocess large datasets from internal APIs and external data sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Build and validate predictive models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to forecast product usage trends and customer churn.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate model outputs into production environments and monitor model performance over time.
  • Document analytical workflows, model assumptions, and results in clear, reproducible reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of professional experience in data analysis, machine learning, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and probability, with experience applying techniques such as hypothesis testing and confidence intervals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex analyses to business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and reproducible research workflows (Jupyter notebooks, Docker).
  • Knowledge of natural language processing or time‑series forecasting techniques.
