Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Java Developer to join our fast‑moving IT team. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance web applications that power our core products, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver reliable software on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, well‑structured Java code for new features and bug fixes in a Spring Boot microservices architecture.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions to ensure quality and alignment with project goals.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, including proper versioning, pagination, and error handling, following industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test to achieve at least 80 % code coverage.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide timely fixes or enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of professional experience developing Java applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and Java 8+ features.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and SQL query optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful services with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and continuous integration pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Required Skills
- Java 8 or newer, with proficiency in lambda expressions, streams, and concurrency utilities.
- Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Data JPA) for building microservices.
- RESTful API design, including authentication (JWT/OAuth2) and versioning.
- Relational database design, SQL, and experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- Version control with Git, branching strategies, and pull‑request workflows.
- Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and test‑driven development practices.
- Build tools such as Maven or Gradle for dependency management and project builds.
- Basic understanding of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
