Cloud Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Cloud Developer to join our healthcare technology team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions that power clinical data analytics and patient management systems. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, clinicians, and cybersecurity specialists to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud-native applications using Python and Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Logic Apps).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, ensuring automated testing, code quality, and secure deployments.
• Integrate third‑party clinical data sources and APIs, transforming raw data into structured formats for analytics and reporting.
• Perform security hardening of cloud workloads, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption at rest and in transit, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional requirements, estimate effort, and deliver features on time.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience developing cloud applications in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Azure SDKs and services.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud Platform (MCP) and its security best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with cybersecurity fundamentals (e.g., OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, secure coding).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HIPAA‑compliant data handling and privacy controls.
• Knowledge of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards and related APIs.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Required Skills

• Python (3.x) programming and scripting
• Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Service, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, Azure AD)
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or AKS
• Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline design with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Snyk, OWASP ZAP)
• Version control with Git and branching strategies
• Basic data analytics skills (SQL, pandas) for working with clinical datasets

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
