Systems Engineer

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong ability to reason from first principles, particularly in physics-based systems.

• Good understanding of space environments and basic orbital mechanics.

• Solid foundation in electrical systems and underlying electrical phenomena.

• Hands-on experience in building and debugging electrical systems from scratch.

• Practical experience with electrical measurements, especially using oscilloscopes.

• Strong mathematical reasoning and analytical skills.

• Hands-on experience with scripting (e.g., Python or similar).

Good-to-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of embedded hardware and/or PCB design considerations.

• Prior experience in software engineering.

• Ability to develop high-performance numerical computation modules.

• Good understanding of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet).

• Familiarity with AC/DC power conversion concepts and systems.
