Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in SMD/SMT electronics manufacturing. The candidate must be capable of taking end-to-end ownership of the production line, managing day-to-day operations, achieving production and quality targets, troubleshooting process issues, and preparing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

·         Take complete responsibility for day-to-day production line operations and ensure smooth line functioning.

·         Manage SMD/SMT production processes and monitor machine operation, output, and workflow.

·         Plan and monitor production schedules, allocate manpower, and achieve daily production targets.

·         Prepare, document, implement, review, and update SOPs and work instructions for production processes.

·         Monitor line efficiency, productivity, machine downtime, rejection rates, and production performance.

·         Troubleshoot production and process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

·         Coordinate with quality, maintenance, stores, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.

·         Ensure product quality, process compliance, workplace safety, and adherence to manufacturing procedures.

·         Identify bottlenecks, reduce wastage, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

·         Maintain daily production reports, downtime records, rejection data, and other manufacturing documentation.

·         Supervise and guide production operators and ensure compliance with defined work instructions.

Required Qualifications

·         Diploma or BE/BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

·         Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing or SMD/SMT production.

·         Hands-on SMD/SMT production experience and proven ability to independently handle a production line.

·         Practical experience in preparing and implementing SOPs and work instructions.

·         Knowledge of production planning, process troubleshooting, quality control, and manpower management.
