Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic Business Analyst to join our IT team, where you will translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions. In this entry‑level role, you will conduct stakeholder interviews, document functional specifications, and support the development and testing of software releases. You’ll receive mentorship from senior analysts while contributing to our ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate requirement‑gathering workshops with business stakeholders to capture functional and non‑functional needs.
Write clear, concise business requirements documents, use cases, and user stories for the development team.
Collaborate with product owners and developers to refine acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with project goals.
Support user acceptance testing by preparing test plans, coordinating test execution, and logging defects.
Generate and analyze data reports using Excel and Power BI to provide insights that inform product decisions.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into simple solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear documentation for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation.
Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and reporting.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and sprint ceremonies.
Required Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
Microsoft PowerPoint (slide design, storytelling)
SQL basics (SELECT, JOIN, filtering)
Jira and Confluence for workflow and documentation
Visio or Lucidchart for process mapping and flowcharts
Data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Agile Scrum methodology (sprint planning, retrospectives)
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
