Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Sales Operations team, responsible for transforming complex sales data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement. The role requires a blend of analytical rigor, storytelling ability, and cross‑functional collaboration to support sales strategy and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain dashboards in Tableau and Power BI that track key sales metrics (quota attainment, pipeline velocity, win/loss rates) for regional and national sales leaders.
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses of customer segmentation and churn trends, presenting findings and recommendations to the Sales Enablement team.
- Automate data extraction from Salesforce, HubSpot, and ERP systems using SQL and Python, ensuring data integrity and reducing report turnaround time.
- Collaborate with Marketing to evaluate lead quality and attribution models, informing cross‑channel campaign budgets.
- Support quarterly forecasting and territory planning by building predictive models that incorporate historical performance, market conditions, and new product launches.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst in a B2B sales environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction from relational databases.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, concise recommendations.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and familiarity with Salesforce reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building predictive models in Python (scikit‑learn) or R.
- Knowledge of marketing attribution frameworks (e.g., multi‑touch, data‑driven attribution).
- Previous work in a fast‑paced SaaS or technology sales organization.
Required Skills
- Advanced SQL querying (joins, window functions, CTEs).
- Data visualization in Tableau and Power BI.
- Python programming for data cleaning, analysis, and automation.
- Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing).
- Data storytelling and presentation to executive audiences.
- Version control with Git for data pipelines.
- Understanding of CRM data structures, especially Salesforce.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
