Organizational design & go-to market: · Help scope out, advise, and set up the correct organization, structure and go-to market approach to be able to sell Medical Devices in Middle East · Oversee and drive the registration of the products in the various markets (using in house or 3rd party regulatory resources) · Identify distribution partners for brands where they will not be sold directly and set up distribution contracts · Monitor & maintain contracts Strategy · Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Financial Officer & CEO in developing the overall Company Regional business strategy & portfolio strategy within the territory · Identify Regional expansion opportunities · Provide market insights when the company is evaluating new portfolio additions Sales: · In direct markets build direct sales teams where agreed · In indirect / Distributor markets Train Distributor teams · Provide strategic direction to the Business Units to ensure delivery of broad business objectives · Lead the sales & marketing organization, motivating and inspiring the teams · Build relationships directly with VIP accounts & KOLs Marketing: · Responsible for the creation of the Strategic & Operational Marketing plan (with annual budget & costs) and oversee its execution in the Region · Directly manage the Marketing team and the execution of the tactical plan and lead conversions · Manage post sales services and client relationship management including Service and Training · Utilize brand owners / partners materials wherever possible and ensure that they are appropriate for the regional customers Financial: · Has direct responsibility overall to deliver the company Sales budget and profitability with full P&L responsability · Develop and deploy Company commercial strategy and ensure that the Business Unit Heads execute on their agreed business plans to achieve division and company sales & profitability targets. · Monitor the comprehensive sales forecasts to the Management to ensure consistent stock supply. · Sets performance goals accordingly for countries and individual sales staff · Monitor and control Accounts receivables and ensure and AR / bad debt is within Finance Department agreed levels · Set pricing and rebate policies and ensue execution in line with SOPs · Monitor pricing, ASPs, bonus and discounts to maximize Company profitability - Will be responsible for P&L Management: · Sits on the Company Senior Managers Operational Board · Report back to the Senior Management on business results and operations. · Identify potential issues ahead of time and develop solutions for alignment with the Senior Management Team · Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports · Assure proper recruitment, induction, evaluation of all staff. · Conduct relevant staff evaluation and appraisals and oversee professional development and training program plans for staff. · Build strong relationships with the brand owners & partners · Monitor existing commercial contracts and maintain renewals as appropriate · Develop strong understanding and maintain market data for the territory. Supply Chain: · Replenishments of stocks and forecasting stocks for advance order will be core responsibility. · Maintain 100% accuracy in coordination with Supply chain department to maintain balance stock and company do not go out of stock. · Ensures product availability in all regions according to Sales forecast. |
