Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend API Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API architecture, design and development, as well as experience in the fintech domain. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend APIs.
Experience in the Fintech domain is a plus. The role involves creating a platform with User Account Management, Billing, Rate Limiting - The entire API backend will have to be architected from scratch. Knowledge of web3 would also be a plus.
It is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge fintech + web3 (zero knowledge and App Chains)
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain our backend APIs
Strong expertise in async design methodologies
Work closely with our front-end engineers to ensure that our APIs are well-integrated
with our web and mobile applications
Write unit and integration tests for our APIs
Monitor and troubleshoot our APIs
Stay up-to-date on the latest API technologies
Expertise in Go Lang or Rust or Python
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in API design and development (10+ preferred)
Experience in the fintech domain is a plus
Strong understanding of API design principles
Experience with RESTful APIs
Experience with JSON and XML
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with unit and integration testing
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting APIs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
