As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at FortifID, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and design cutting-edge web applications that will shape the future of the financial industry. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will work with a team of talented engineers to build and maintain the front-end and back-end components of the FortifID platform. Your role will include creating highly scalable and user-friendly solutions that enable our customers to access financial products with ease. You will work closely with product managers and server-side developers to develop feature-rich applications that utilize the FortifID API. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing back-end web services that are highly available and responsive, ensuring a seamless user experience. Responsibilities
- Work with customers on projects to securely integrate their front-end applications, data analytics software, and back office business systems with the FortifID platform.
- Engage with UX designers to develop front-end applications that are appealing to the end-user and are easy to use
- Design, develop and maintain desktop and mobile application software that fulfill customer’s business requirements meeting both technical and user needs.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable web services that operate in the back-end.
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to develop and expand the functionality of FortifID API that front-end application developers use to integrate with the FortifID platform.
- Contribute to and remain actively involved in FortifID platform architecture decisions.
- Stay current with latest developments in web applications development methodologies and programming languages.
- Mentor other engineers helping them develop skills to be strong architects and engineers.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of developing web applications, with at least 6 years of experience in both front-end and back-end development.
- Expertise in building complex Single Page Applications using NodeJS.
- Strong skills in front-end web programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (NodeJS), and ability to create server-side and client-side content.
- Proficiency in multiple back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, and Go.
- Experience in designing, developing, and integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of secure data transfer in JSON and XML formats
- Experience with GitLab, in both user and contributor roles.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, and an eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers on development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
