Job Shop Machinist

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce precision parts
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Select and use appropriate tools, machines, and materials for each job
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a machinist in a job shop environment
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials
Ability to set up and operate manual and CNC machines
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
