Lead the planning, execution, and management of the migration project from Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365, ensuring minimal disruption to our production environment.
Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of the current AX 2012 setup to identify customization, integration points, and data migration needs.
Design and implement robust migration strategies, including data integrity validation, performance tuning, and post-migration support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, supply chain, and operations, to ensure business continuity and alignment with organizational goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to the migration team, including setting objectives, reviewing progress, and addressing challenges.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the migration process, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
Stay abreast of updates and new features in Dynamics 365 to leverage improvements and innovations that benefit the organization.
Train and support users on the new system functionalities and changes to ensure a smooth transition and adoption.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 environments, with specific expertise in migration projects.
Strong understanding of the technical and functional aspects of AX 2012 and Dynamics 365.
Proven experience in leading large-scale migration projects, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate teams.
Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 are highly desirable.
