Position: Area Sales Manager- Pharma Products
Qualification: Graduate with Life Science background (B. Pharm/B.Sc./M. Sc.)
Experience: 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Pharmaceutical Product Sales
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Developing an in-depth understanding of company products
- Scheduling appointments and selling the company's products to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals
- Preparing presentations for potential customers
- Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases
- Supporting company to establish distribution network in assigned territory
- Reviewing sale and stock availability
- Completing monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target
- Daily reporting to seniors about daily work, meetings and performance
- Keeping detailed record of contacts
- Fulfil requirements of healthcare professionals and answering queries, and handling complaints
- Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies
- Researching competitor’s products and their respective market performances
- Organizing conferences and seminars for doctors and healthcare professions
Requirement/Skills:
- Working knowledge of computer tools, especially MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Flexible and adaptable to challenges
- Adherence to strict and changing deadlines
- Strong networking skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- A vehicle with driving license is essential
