Arthan's thought leadership work encompasses knowledge creation, curation and dissemination through research pieces, workshops, and convenings to strengthen the social impact ecosystem (www.arthansocialforum.org).
Arthan is seeking a proactive Product Manager to join our team. The individual will be responsible for collaborating with the leadership team at Arthan, and cross-functional teams including operations, design, and communication to define product strategies, prioritize features, and deliver innovative solutions that address the unique needs of our target audience (job seekers and employers) in the social impact sector.
Responsibilities -
Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product strategy aligned with our mission of connecting millions to impact jobs. Identify market opportunities, conduct user research, and gather insights to drive product innovation.
Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and user needs. Continuously refine and adjust the roadmap based on user feedback, market trends, and emerging technologies.
Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development and optimization process, including gathering requirements, and creating user stories. Debug and troubleshoot product issues through our tech vendor and present solutions to improve product performance.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the social impact space. Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities for new product development.
Requirements -
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent.
Proven experience (2+ years) as a Product Manager, preferably in the social impact space or related field.
Strong understanding of the social impact sector and familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in this space.
Experience in developing and managing products throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA) is highly desirable.
Experienced in researching, designing, and developing new products from concept to launch
Passion for social impact and a strong desire to make a positive difference in the world.
