Arthan is seeking a dynamic Communications Associate to join their sister vertical - Climate Asia. The individual will be responsible for designing and coordinating communications for Climate Asia as per the brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing events, social media posts, website blood, periodic newsletters, and the creation of decks, proposals, and presentations.
Responsibilities
Social Media
Develop reports, case studies, videos, photos, and other media content which can be put out in the public forum to spread awareness of Climate Asia’s work
Design or coordinate communication material as per branding guidelines
Maintain social media image by regularly updating Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and blog accounts with meaningful content, and engaging with relevant stakeholders on these platforms
Website/Platform Promotion
Assist in promoting the platform (www.climateasia.org) and updating its content regularly.
Create content that also promotes the platform features
Regular addition of information on funding opportunities and events on the website
Event Management
Design or coordinate communication material as per branding guidelines
Create emails/communication materials to invite speakers, invite organizations, invite participants, and audiences
Manage event execution on Zoom or another software for conferences
Assist in developing briefing documents and concept notes
Blogs
Decks, proposals, and Presentations
Assist with creating decks and presentations about Climate Asia’s work
Support with editing and review of proposals, reports, etc before sharing with clients/funders
Any support with Internal communications
Design Newsletter
Requirements
Have basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies
Advanced knowledge of Canva/Figma
Bachelor’s in English, Journalism /Mass Communication, or any such relevant field
1+ years of experience in the social impact sector or related verticals
Experience with Mailchimp, Mailer Lite, and/or any alternative tools for marketing
