Reporting directly to the Global Controller.
Our client is a dynamic and personal environment combining 97 years of heritage with a fresh take on innovating and energizing the golf industry. Global operations exist in China and Mexico with headquarters in San Diego, where the role will perform a variety of Accounting and Finance activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monthly and Annual close including consolidation and publication of Financial Statements with review and analysis of financial performance
- General and technical Accounting including journal entries, account reconciliations, and review of key areas such as Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Capital Expenditures
- Analysis and reporting of weekly Sales, monthly financials, bank reports, and product profitability
- Monitor general ledger transactions, product pricing maintenance and various financial system controls
- Annual budget and monthly forecasting
- Development and refinement of Policies and Procedures, Chart of Accounts, and Cost Centers
- Maintain the company’s Accounting and corporate records
- Support others in management of requests for the Finance department including reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Audit support as required
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting, manufacturing setting a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Detail oriented, strong communication and creative problem solving skills
- Proficient in ERP environments, implementation experience a plus
- Must be able to maintain high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with other employees as well as senior management.
